About the Oregon Pesticide Safety Education Program (PSEP)
The PSEP at Oregon State University aims to protect human health and the environment through science-based outreach and education. We train licensed and unlicensed pesticide applicators, agricultural workers and employers. We offer training programs in-person and online. We are also building a sustainable training program on Environmental Protection Agency's Worker Protection Standard (WPS), with support from the Specialty Crop Block Grant Program (USDA).
The OSU Pesticide Safety Education Program )PSEP) is directed by Kaci Buhl, Associate Professor of Practice in the Department of Environmental & Molecular Toxicology (EMT) in the college of Agricultural Sciences. Buhl is a proud member of the OSU Extension Services and the American Association of Pesticide Safety Educators (AAPSE). We partner closely with the Oregon Department of Agriculture (ODA), Pesticides Division.
